Barça revealed they will play at the partially upgraded Camp Nou on Saturday. The club will host the Bilbao team in La Liga two and a half years since relocating for construction to commence.
“Returning home was our dream. Finally, it’s happening. We are back at Spotify Camp Nou.”
Not all seats will be available with 45,401 fans will be allowed to watch under the licence granted. Once fully finished, it will accommodate almost 105,000 spectators, a rise from the old capacity. Officials confirmed completed upgrades featured an updated entryway for the team plus modern locker rooms.
The club conducted a public practice inside the stadium on 7 November. They mentioned approval is being pursued from European football’s governing body to host the next European match versus the German side next month at the stadium. They have been hosting matches in the temporary ground.
