British boxer Anthony Joshua Released from Hospital in Nigeria Following Fatal Car Crash

The British boxer Anthony Joshua has left the medical facility, local government spokespeople stated on Wednesday night. The athlete was involved in a car accident near Lagos on Monday, a tragic incident that took the lives of two of his close associates.

Healing from Light Wounds

Joshua had been receiving medical attention while recuperating from non-critical injuries, representatives stated earlier on Monday. A government official, Gbenga Omotoso, announced via a post online that Joshua was judged healthy enough to leave and heal privately.

“The boxer and his mother were at the mortuary in Lagos this afternoon to offer their condolences to his two departed friends as they were being prepared for repatriation,” Omotosho said.

Remembering the Victims

The victims of the crash were confirmed to be Latif Ayodele, a personal trainer, and Sina Ghami, a performance coach. It was also noted that the boxer was “heavy-hearted and deeply emotional over the tragic loss of his two dear friends.”

This update on his health comes as the sports world offered sympathy for the champion in the following the heartbreaking incident.
